Beginners Carpentry for all, a Hands-on Workshop

$20A one-day hands on Beginners’ Carpentry Workshop in Auckland for Guys and Gals where we will cover care and safety of hand tools and power tools, measure twice and cut once and a host of other handy tips to help you build some art.
(We are still waiting on confirmation that the Mt Eden venue will be available)
We are asking for $20 to cover the cost for the day, including tea, coffee, loo paper etc, as well as throwing some money towards the building rent and hopefully to buy some hand tools to share (if we can find them at the op shops etc).
We will grab some pallets to provide free wood to learn on.

If you have some tools of your own please bring them
If you have spare nails, screws, sandpaper, glue etc please let me know or bring them as we don’t have any budget to buy them
Safety Rules:
No open toed shoes or barefeet please
Bring safety glasses if you have some
Bring gloves if you have soft hands, wood splinters can hurt
Ear protection is used with some power tools
