This was my question.
The question concerned the way the ground has been divided by the road and associated fencing so that the free camping area could become the only area available to be used and the (new) road could be being kept open for bike access, and anyone else. This would exclude the majority of the space we used this year and produce an appalling security situation.
The answer was that we have exclusive use of the whole site under our current contract. The security issue (as I imagined it) does not exist.
The question of what happens at the end of the contract is left for the future. |

It was actually two separate questions:
1. How would the new fencing (there's lots of it - they've fenced a raceway through the middle of the property) affect the festival? We're looking into the possibility of putting in stiles to ease people's getting around.
2. Will SLAM be around while KB is on? The answer is no, the lease for the property includes provision for us to be there for the duration of the festival, and for that time it's closed to the public, including SLAM. |
